However, we recognize that circumstances may require cancellations, changes, or assistance with damaged goods during transit. The following outlines our policy regarding these matters.
1. Returns and Cancellations

We offer a 90-day return window after the container has been delivered. -
Cancellations Before Shipment:
A full refund will be issued for cancellations requested before your container is loaded onto the vessel. -
Cancellations After Shipment:
Cancellations requested after shipment are generally not accepted.
However, in certain cases—such as when the container remains at the origin port—a partial refund may be issued, minus any applicable fees (e.g., storage, processing, or administrative costs).
If cancellation is no longer possible, the container must proceed to delivery, after which refund procedures may apply in accordance with the return policy.
2. Modifications

Before Shipment:
Modifications to shipment details (e.g., destination port, cargo description, or container type) may be permitted prior to shipment, subject to a modification fee and approval based on operational feasibility. -
After Shipment:
Modifications after shipment has commenced are generally not possible due to logistical constraints and international shipping regulations.
3. Damaged Goods

During Transport:
In the event of damage during transit, Small Shipping Containers will assist you in filing a claim with your cargo insurance provider (strongly recommended for all shipments).
Administrative support may also be provided throughout the claims process. -
Upon Arrival:
If damage is discovered upon delivery, you must immediately notify the destination port authorities and file a damage report within 3–7 days of receipt to initiate an insurance or compensation claim.
